17.3.4 Discrimination and harassment
- Staff are expected to treat Clients and carers with respect, to respond to them according to their needs, and not to discriminate against anyone on any grounds. The same is expected of them in respect of their colleagues.
- If staff feel that they are being harassed or discriminated against by a Client, carer or colleague, they should report this initially to their Team Leader, who will address the issue with the person in question.
