13.8 Violence and abuse to staff

Staff must feel able to raise any concerns they may have with their Team Leader Clients and their Carers must be told when their behaviour is unacceptable, and encouraged to change.
A Supported Lives staff member who feels that they are under threat of violence must leave the home immediately.
All incidents must be reported using the appropriate procedures.
In extreme circumstances, it may be decided to withdraw a service.
