13.2 Clothing

Identity badges must be carried, and produced on request.

Plastic aprons and the appropriate gloves must be worn (as described in the personal care and clinical tasks policies ) and whenever there is a risk of cross-infection. This includes all personal care and 'dirty' jobs, including transfers using hoists etc., and this should be stated on every Risk Assessment.
