Domiciliary services are provided under Section 2 of the CSDP Act 1970, the NHS Act 1977 and the Mental Health Act 1983. The service is required to meet the Domiciliary Care National Minimum Standards (Care Standards Act 2000), and those for employers and staff set by the General Social Care Council (GSCC Codes of Practice 2002).
