Not for profit
Supported Lives is a not for profit organisation, with charitable aims. This means that, although we are not registered with the Charity Commission, our stated aims in our Memorandum of Association are:
to provide services that challenge social exclusion of people with learning disabilities ... to enable them to exercise their rights to dignity and independence and realise their full potential in the setting of their local community.
Any surplus income, over and above the usual administration and salary costs, will be put back into the organisation. No profits will be taken out or paid to individuals.
Supported Lives is a private company limited by guarantee (not having share capital).
